What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is placed on an internet users hard drive. It is generated by a web page server, which in other words is the computer that operates a web site. A cookie usually contains the name of the website which the browser is using and can be used by that server whenever the user visits the site. It is something in the form of a user’s identification card, which will web the site when the user has returned to it.
